Rack Systems & Accessories
Matrix Material Handling is proud to be a Steel King Excalibur Dealer.
Steel King is a leader in the manufacture and integrating of material handling products and systems for improving operation efficiency in manufacturing, assembly, distribution centers, storage facilities and warehousing.
Pallet Rack is the standard storage method for warehouses, manufacturing, etc. Matrix designs systems that maximize valuable space and meet capacity and durability requirements. Different rack designs depend upon the application:
Selective Pallet Rack is the main component of every warehouse system. It provides single deep pallet storage and 100% access to inventory.
Drive-In/Drive-Thru Pallet Rack systems store large volumes of like material. Dense storage allows up to 7 times more product than floor stacking, 3 times more than pallet rack.
Drive-In systems load/retrieve from the same side, creating Last-In-First-Out (LIFO) inventory retrieval. Drive-Thru systems load from one side/unload from the other, for First-In-First-Out (FIFO) inventory retrieval. |

Cantilever Rack – for loads of varying length and proportion (pipe, tubing, lumber). Loads of differing lengths may be stored on the same rack and even at the same level.
Push Back Rack allows for easily accessible Last-In-First-Out (LIFO) inventory. Store product from 2-5 pallets deep with front-only loading from a single aisle. Push Back is more versatile than Drive-In because lanes flow independently. Multiple pick facings for a variety of SKUs can be stored/retrieved without disturbing other product above or below.
Pallet Flow Rack is driven by gravity and perfect for high turnover product with first-in/first out (FIFO) stock rotation. The high-density storage requires fewer aisles. Warehouse floor space utilization can be maximized with fewer aisles by storing pallets back to back. | ![]() |

Pallet Rack Repair - will fix racking and protect the rack from failure or collapse. Our rack repair option can cut out the damaged areas of the rack and add a cost-efficient sleeve and new post for a more impact resilient solution. In most instances, there is no need to unload the pallet rack.
